Soooo i only just got my February Glossy Box (well a couple of days ago) and i had already been reading and watching what others had got in their boxes, i tried not to look at any blog posts or youtube videos so it was a surprise, but i just couldn't do it!!
And then the excitement started to disappear pretty quickly once i heard how many people didnt like there boxes...
and then mine arrived...
and i LOVE it!!
I was really pleasantly surprised and chuffed with everything in it to be honest. Also lots of full sizes! So here is my Valentine Themed Glossy Box, and the goodies it bought :)
Soooo first product then... Rituals Magic Touch cherry blossom & rice milk Body Cream
Sample Size Recieved - 70ml
Full Size and Price - 200ml/70ml - £15/£5
This body cream is very rich, thick and creamy. Although its thick, its very easy to rub in, it isnt greasy at all and best of all it sinks straight into your skin meaning within a few seconds you can throw your clothes on without feeling sticky. It leaves your skin super super soft. Its also firming and strengthening and its smells AMAZING... its that good that once my soap and glory body butter runs out, if ive found nothing that tops it i shall be buying the 200ml pot of this.
Miners Cosmetics Lip Colour in Cinnamon

Full size and Price - 4g - £3.99
This i have seen in other peoples boxes and they seemed to be unhappy with the colour, i think a lot of people had a dark brown colour? But this colour i really really like, i have tried it since opening and its smooth and doesnt drag the skin on your lip. Once on its quite sheer and has pink/purpley tones. Not sure how well it stays as i haven't been out and about in it for any length of time, but excited to wear it and see. Colour swatches at end of this post.
Figs and Rouge Lip, Face and Body balm in Rambling Rose
Sample Size Received - 8ml

Mmmmm smells gooood! Although this balm is 'Rambling Rose' its not a floral scent really... its more citrus? It smells good enough to eat anyways!
It says that this balm is suitable for use on dry cuticles, lips, elbows, knees or any other area in need of TLC.
Ive tried it on my lips, and its fab. Leaves them feeling super silky and soft. I dont really suffer with dry skin on my elbows or knees etc so yet to try anywhere else. But cant imagine it not combating dry skin on the body, when it does such a good job as a lip balm. Also love how cute and quirky this looks.
MeMeMe Cosmetics Beat the Blues Iridescent Complexion Illuminator & Highlighter
in Pearl Pink
Sample Size Received - 12ml
Full Size and Price - 12ml - £5.50
Not really big on liquid highlighters and illuminators, only ever used pressed powder highlighters and even then its not something i use everytime i do my makeup. I know its staple in some poeples makeup bags and an absolute must... but i cant say that its important in mine! But it is something ive been looking ino a lot more, but not wanted to spend money on something if im not going to use it, so im really chuffed ive got this! Its perfect shade for my skin, and unlike i first imagined, its not like swiping glittery cream down your cheekbones. Excited to try this out!
Last then is the Micabella Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadow in shade 53 Deep Secrets

Full Size and Price- 2.5g - £14.95
Mineral eye shadows again isnt something i really use, or have ever bought. I think loose eyeshadows are really messy and i can see this getting everywhere! But on the plus side this is really pigmented, its a really really lovely shimmery gold/brown, it the sort of colour that actually use a lot, so looking forward to trying this. Not sure i would pay full price for a full size version, but hey you never know after using it a few times i may be converted!!

Overall i think this was a lovely box, and im really happy with it!

DeleteI personally LOVE glossy box, i know some people dont, and yeah some boxes are not as great as others, but ive never had one thats made me think 'hmph not impressed'

Ahhhh that lip balm and MeMeMe highligher look lush! I cancelled my glossybox subscription after a really disappointing box but this one definitely looks like a winner! Btw if you're ever passing through my blog, do say hi! I'd love to get chatting to more bloggers :)

The lip balm is AMAZING, its smells gorgeous! The highlighter is pretty good too, its new to me liquid highlighter, as ive always preferred pressed powder... but enjoying using this, leaves my skin looking really healthy!
