Glossy Box - March 2013

Soooo thought id share with you my March GlossyBox.

This month was a little bit disappointing product wise if im totally honest. But it has got cute little extras that make up for it... sort of...

Ill let you make your own minds up, but ive got my fingers crossed that next month is a better box :)

So the theme this month was Get City Chic. Cool concept and also came with a very cute little travel book complete with stickers! LOVE IT!  I love notebooks, and notepads and dairys and all things stationary so little things like this excite me... also the stickers satisfied my inner child!

So on first impressions i was super super chuffed! Then i peeled back the tissue paper, and wasn't as thrilled with some of the products... bear in mind these boxes are to give people a chance to sample luxury products...

TRESemme Hair Spray

Sample Size Received -  100ml

Full Size and Price - 500ml - £4.69

 So firstly... i think the majority of girls have had and used TRESemme products, its not a product id want to receive from my GlossyBox, as its not luxury? 

Yeah its a good hairspray, it does what it says on the tin, but i have the full size can on my dresser... so this was really my biggest disappointment with this box.

Juicy Couture - Couture La La

Sample Size Received - 1.5ml

Full Size and Price - 100ml - £63

 Im not a Juicy Couture fan... at all...

I dont know what it is about there scents, especially this one, that i dont like but they dont do it for me at all. This is far to floral and full on. They also feel a bit chavvy? Maybe thats part of the reason i dont like them... 

And I know people dont like perfume samples in their GlossyBox but i dont mind at all, in fact i find the teeny little sample sprays ever so handy for popping in your handbag on a night out. 

Nails Inc  - St. James

Sample Size Received - 4ml

Full Size and Price - 10ml - £11

but you can buy the mini's - 4ml - £5

I like Nails Inc Polishes, i find theyre always always a really nice consistancy and colour, have nice brushes and go on really well. Saying that though, reds scare me a little so ive never really bought any... but i love this!  Its described as a pillar box red, named after the upmarket area of london, and will add Glamour to any outfit. And i totally agree. Sometimes think its nice to have a bright solid block colour, without sparkles and shimmers, so im chuffed with this :)

Elizabeth Arden - Eight Hour Cream

Sample Size Received - 7ml

Full Size and Price - 50ml - £25

 This is was reeaally chuffed about! Id had a sample of this a couple of years ago and was quite impressed but never bought the full size. Since then ive heard nothing but good things about it, but never wanted to buy it incase i remember to be better than it actuallywas... So im excited to use this again, see if it is as good as i remember and then if it is i can get the full size knowing ill use it and like it. This goes a long way so would last a while, it also can be used all over (face, lips, hands and cuticles) so is a good one to have on the go in your handbag.

Jelly Pong Pong - Lip Blush

Sample Sized Received - 2.5g

Full Size and Price - 2.5g - £12

So Jelly Pong Pong isn't a brand that im completely  sure about. I dont know much about them at all. Think it could be packaged better, i tried to find out what colour my lip blush was but it wasnt anywhere, so went on their website to have a little bit of a  nosey and they have two colours a pink and a red, so im guessing this is Marshmallow Pink. Other than that i quite like it, it is really moisturising and its a really pretty colour, so will see how i get on with it.
