2012 Catch Up - Days, Weekends & Holidays

Well, the back end of 2012 was full of lovey days out, weekends away & a fab holiday in the sun. The rest of the year i spent in my little town... more than likely in the rain... working and moving house!

My first proper break wasn't until September... for my birthdaaaaaay! We went to Lincoln on the second, to watch JLS at the Showground. 
It was amazing, even if you're not too fussed about them you cannot deny how brilliant they are live. The whole day was lovely as it was oddly warm for September in the uk! Bit grey to begin with but brightened up in the afternoon. The gig was outdoors, and there was funfairs to play on and we sat on the grass in the sun with hotdogs and a beer before the concert started. 
The support acts were fab, especially Cover Drive, Little Mix & IamTich. And then JLS, well... amazing!! We were soooo close and had an amazing view, and then my friend let slip to a girl in the crowd that it was my birthday and everybody around started singing to me, was so funny but i was purple with embarrassment .. still not got her back for that one haha! 
Then we drove into Skegness and stayed overnight in a lovely hotel, got up the next morning to some freakishly glorious weather, and spent the day getting sun burnt on the beach... whoops!  But was better than being at work! Was a rather amazing birthday treat :)

 Then we went back to Skegness in December, for a festive visit! Saw the light switch on, got covered in fake snow, saw santa & sat in a fire engine! Was brill haha! We did lots of shopping for Christmas presents, and a few treats for ourselves (*cough* new amazingly warm and cozy geek jumper *cough*). And we also went to a place called Donna Nook, and saw all of the little tiny baby seals, which was amazing! And id just bought my current camera, which is a hell of a lot better than my iPhone ha, so i managed to get some really lovely clear photographs of something for a change!

And we also went to Majorca for a week which was fab. We stayed in Cala'dor, and its was so pretty, such a lovely harbor with restaurants on the waters edge... oooo take me back there! 
The weather was Beautiful, and we stayed in a lovely apartment. There was loads to do and see, we even found a little hidden beach! Food was fab, plenty to choose from, something to suit everybody's tastes.  I would 100% go back there again, and i would recommend it to everybody. Where we stayed it was peaceful and quiet and picture perfect , but only a 10 minute (maybe more like 15-20 on the way home under the influence of alcohol) walk to the hundreds of restaurants and cocktail bars and also a nightclub with modern dance music. So we really did have the best of both worlds. 

The last day of the holiday we spent in Palma so we were near the airport for coming home. It was really really interesting and lots of things to see, id say you need a good couple of days to see everything, i would go back JUST to carry on exploring Palma!
